Making Room

My belly has been making a lot of room for this little boy lately. The funny thing is, I constantly look down and think, "oh I'm not that big." But then I see the pictures and I realize, oh yeah, I am! My friends have been asking for "belly pics", but I am just not that good at remembering and haven't been feeling ultra photo-worthy lately. Luckily, my good friend, Lauren, was able to take these pictures of me this weekend for Hudson's maternity pictures. They turned out great and I am so thankful to her for taking them!

I have also been brainstorming Hudson's room. I am going (well, Logan is because being pregnant and painting don't mix) to paint the walls neutral and then add in color with the fabrics. Teel (turquoise), navy blue, and lime will be the main colors. Very bright, but I'm hoping it will not be too babyish. Although I loved Maddy's room as an infant, we quickly switched it when we got to our house and made it more suitable for a big girl room. I'm hoping to do Hudson's room up right so we won't have to change it too much later. We'll see how that goes. A lot of ideas I've found from Etsy (wall decals and blankets), and the guitar pic mobil was on a design blog. I have been trying to collect guitar pics from different people, but have been unsuccessful so far. If you have any, send them to me! I want them to be from different important people in his life and if you're reading this and play the guitar, you are a very important person! Since our crib was recalled and we have to get a new car seat, decorating might have to wait until bigger purchases are made.
