Now that it's August, I better start recapping our summer (this will be the May and June portion). We have had an incredible summer, full of up's and down's, but overall, incredible.
We spent a lot of days on the couch enjoying cartoons with Ainsley.
And other days out in the park.
Granny had a stroke, but is fully recovered now. This was her first time to meet Ainsley and she said it was just the medicine she needed to get back in shape.
She got to meet all of her great-grandparents that weekend.
And then she was admitted into the hospital the next week for croup. (Just overnight.) We hate the croup. Bleh.
We had record rainfall in June in San Antonio and enjoyed some serious puddle jumping.
These little ranch hands enjoyed some riding lessons with our beloved horse, Dina, and Jimbo.
Playtime with the Hatters in Austin was a must for Memorial Day Weekend.
Logan's birthday kicked off June and we continued celebrating him the following week with Father's Day.
This video was taken just moments before Hudson busted his lip after falling from this little contraption. He got two stitches in his lip about two hours later.
Logan and Hudson had to mow the grass a lot from all that rain. Praise the Lord for that!
Trips to the zoo are so much fun with this wild and crazy bunch.
And bowling was checked off our summer bucket list as well.
Our favorite babysitter, Mollimichelle, joined us on lots of outtings because she has been staying with our neighbors during the day. It made trips (like this one to the zoo and Japanese Gardens) super fun and doable with 5 kids 4 kids, we left Ainsley at home with Daddy because it was too hot!
Maddy left for her first trip away from Mom and Dad with Nana on an airplane for Tennessee a few days later!
And Hudson and the girls delivered homemade cookies to the Alamo Heights Firemen. Hudson wasn't very into it, but he wore his fireman shirt and smiled when we left.
Before the rest of us headed to Tennessee to join Maddy, we made another trip to the zoo with Hudson's best bud, Kai.
This little cutie was my date for my cousin, JoLinda's, wedding in Colleyville.
That about wraps up May and June. July was full of lots of traveling and vacationing to Tennessee. Better post to follow shortly!
