Easter 2013

We celebrated Easter a little differently this year.  Instead of hosting a big neighborhood party with cascarones, a giant egg hunt, and lots of neighbors, we came home from the hospital with Ainsley.  I did get to watch the sermon from my hospital room online so that was nice.  Logan and  his mom, Vicki, prepared a wonderful Easter lunch.  After naps, the kids joined the neighbors in a speedy round of dye-hide-and-hunt-some-eggs-before-the-rain-comes.  

Logan was in charge of taking pictures so there are none of me feeding Ainsley on the porch, but that's where I was.  

These three are becoming a happy crew.  Yesterday, Maddy said to us, "Mom, do we have a big family?"  I replied with, "Yes! We do!"  I never thought we would have a big (anything over 2 kids is big to me) family, but we do and I love it.  

And they like it too....

Although I think Hudson is considering moving in the backyard with Zeke, his best bud.  

Hello Beautiful

Ainsley Jane Fritts arrived on March 29th, 2013 at 9:10 pm measuring 8 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long.  She has her daddy's nose and her mama's full head of hair (though no curls yet).  She was almost one week late from her due date, but when she decided to come it didn't take long! 

(this shot was taken in the wee hours of the morning after her debut because I couldn't sleep I was so excited!) 

Maddy is over the moon for this little one.  We printed off these two pictures so she could take them to her school to show her teachers and friends.  Hudson as you can see in the picture is not quite so sure about our new addition.  He really likes to crawl into mama's lap when she is feeding the baby.

 Here is our first attempt at a family photo.  I'm sure we'll have many more shots likes this to come in the future...and good ones too I hope!

Thank you to all the family and friends who have stopped by, stayed the night, done my laundry, and taken care of my family.  We couldn't have done it without you.  Life has a new normal for us so we are praying it finds us.  God is so good and has so many blessings in store for us.  And there's a baby crying now so I'm off...
